In this Spanish art and literature class we listened to Futurist music, and saw examples of Futurist poetry and typography. We discussed the car crash of F.T. Marinetti that prompted his insight into contemporary art and the founding of Futurism. Students were asked to represent his car crash or the explosion of epiphany through collage, using the letterform only as shape or sound.
