Microantología is a tiny anthology of three translated microfiction stories by Guillermo Samperio of Mexico, Julio Cortázar of Argentina and Mario Benedetti of Uruguay. It was inspired in part by the Eloisa Cartonera publishers of Latin America, who publish authors in photocopy editions with hand painted cardboard covers.
The book is an exploration into what makes the handmade precious. Is it the handwork, the materials, or something else? It is up to the reader to decide. This piece was handset and letterpress printed on donated newsprint and 10 pt. card.
