This class introduced students to the fundamental skills of letterpress printing including typesetting, impression, inking, and paper selection. Students also learned low-tech imagemaking techniques, to pair text and image. Students explored ornaments, pochoir, and pressure printing, developing prints, artist’s books or some other form they invented.
