Books are made of other books. Books are an influence, through content and form, they are also a material. Students will begin by making erasure poetry by altering found book pages. Next they will make a book, using a window format either a pamphlet or an accordion structure. Students will learn and add image-making techniques such as trace monotype, pochoir, and embroidery.
